Alex LeVasseur Memorial Music Scholarship

The Alex LeVasseur Memorial Fund awarded The Beat of Life a $100,000 grant to help bring dynamic music programming into youth spaces while helping encourage, inspire and educate their lives.

The Beat of Life is, a music-based non-profit that provides therapeutic songwriting and music programs to Nashville’s most vulnerable, challenged, and hurting populations.

Through this program, we have worked with at-risk youth in various spaces including with the YMCA’s Y-CAP program. Y-CAP is an outreach program that serves teens in the 8th-12th grades of Williamson County by offering dynamic opportunities to grow in Spirit, Mind, and Body.

The scholarship continues to support programs and youth centers in need of creative and impactful programming to support our youth.
